As a MixPost Pro User, when I upload a video to a post, I want to select which still image or frame from my video will be used for the thumbnail on platforms supporting thumbnails wo that I can customise the look of my post and enhance the impact of my content.

Details:

Implement a Thumbnail Selector feature within MixPost Pro that allows users to choose a specific frame from their uploaded video to use as the thumbnail OR/AND to upload an image to be used as thumbnail.

Functionality:

• Provide an interface for users to preview and select a frame from their video as the thumbnail.
• Automatically apply the selected thumbnail to platforms that support this feature.
• Maintain default behaviour for platforms that do not support custom thumbnails.

Large parts of the Fediverse won't boost (share) your image posts without alt text included. Right now this is a manual process: schedule in Mixpost, and then when the post goes live, edit and redraft with alt text. This really cuts down on the convenience of Mixpost for this channel specifically, and I'd imagine any ActivityPub network in the future.

Support posting to the Threads platform alongside Facebook and Instagram.

I would like to create posts in a team and get feedback from team-mates, how the post can be improved. Of course there shouldn't be a mix-up with external comments on the plattform, where the post was published.

I would like to have a possibility in the posts view that the customer can give a "release", perhaps by a checklist at the posting, where one can still add other free definable tasks.

Empower users with the ability to delete their account, ensuring they have full control over their data and its presence on the platform.

Ability to fill in the business information that will appear on invoices.

I often write in threads, so I find when I use Mixpost, I have to immediately hop into the thread after I publish to add a comment. If possible, it would be great to add support for thread-style replies in on posts in any platforms that allow this (Mastodon and Twitter being the key ones).

This would be helpful on LinkedIn as well, where posting links is discouraged in the main post, but is usually good to add into a reply.

For easy access, the published posts within Mixpost should link back to the original social platform post.

At Buffer, you can prefill the text and URL to share via URL-Parameters to the Create Post dialog, e.g., https://publish.buffer.com/compose?url=URL&text=MyText

This would be really helpful if this is possible for the /posts/create endpoint as well.

Besides the text and URL, it would be helpful if it is possible to provide the time to publish the post and the accounts to select as well.

Then you can create a JavaScript Bookmark which takes the title and URL of the current website. Or create a Button inside the WordPress Block Editor to share the current post with the title, URL and set a time if the post is scheduled.

A possibility to assign "invisible" plans as admin, for example to set customer-specific limits that cannot be booked by other customers, would be great.

If Mixpost was a webapp it could create a notification on the mobile phone, then the user could use the existing entry in mix post and create the story on the mobile phone with the prepared content.
