It's great that Mastodon is already supported, but it'd be even better is more apps from the fediverse were supported too.

It might be possible to use the Mastodon integration with Pixelfed for basic posting, I believe Pixelfed actually supports the basic Mastodon APIs. Worth experimenting with.

What I would really love to see, in terms of a dedicated integration, is support for Pixelfed Stories and Groups. Stories are already an established thing on the platform, but Groups are projected to land in an upcoming release, and could be a really big deal.

I have fully tested this and it works. The only issue is it displays as a mastodon account (expected) and it would be nice to see the pixelfed logo there instead.
