It's a way to add links to images on platforms that don't support clickable outbound links (i.e. Instagram) to improve the user experience so they don't have to manually type them.
Basically how this could be implemented is in two different ways:
offering an API/webhooks so we can manually build a solution ourselves
create an Instagram-like grid on a sub-page (preferably being able to host on a different domain name) of the posted images which have a link-field filled out. So when on instagram we post a post with a link, they can go to our instagram profile, click the link in bio and select the picture post they just viewed to get to the link we had set while scheduling.
