Would be great to be able to organize the media into folders - Perhaps a search function could be useful here also. Perhaps the ability to favorite media and displaying it in a dedicated "Favorites" folder would also be an idea.
Another approach would be tagging.
This way the images could be assigned on several places and not just one folder.
The tags could still be shown as folders in the UI.
(similar the way gmail handles folders)
This is a great suggestion. I like that tagging allows the appearance of folders in UI but functions more practically.
I think a good functionality will be to determine which media has been posted or scheduled.
In this way, we can easily see what we need to schedule or post.
For example a tag as suggested or a border color on media to identify them
I’m trying to understand why you need folders in a social media management app. Managing folders seems like it could add complexity to the workflow. Could you walk me through how you intend to use them and what specific business problem they would solve?
I'm for:
- Search by name
- Filter by type (image/video)
- Sorting
- Having Favorite section
- Determine which media has been posted or scheduled.
I’d really like to understand your need for folders and how they would help with your workflow. Thank you!
The main reason I’m asking for folders is to group related media together and make the media library easier to manage. For example, having folders for Christmas, Easter, Throwbacks, campaigns, or other recurring content themes would help keep everything organized and easier to find.
I’m also in favor of the other features you mentioned: search by name, filtering by image/video, sorting, favorites, and being able to see what has already been posted or scheduled.
Folders would simply add another layer of organization for larger media libraries, rather than replacing those features. It would help reduce clutter and make managing and reusing content more efficient.
Thank you very much for the explanation. But I have some questions, for example, let's say you have a Christmas folder, you do it once a year, will you use the same images/videos next year?
The idea was from HeyOrca when i used it around 2023 and it really help to keep the media organised but I checked now and it seems that have evolved to using tags which is also cool.

Thank you. I understand the usefulness of folders. We will integrate it.
