Can you tell me the benefits of this feature?

Hi. This will benefit a lot of agencies, marketing teams, dxp providers and so on that integrates a lot of platforms and software like Mautic, Matomo, Drupal, WordPress, Unomi, etc. allowing to sign up and log into everything with a only one credential in a single process, simplyfing the development and deployment as well as users data management for tech support and team/data managers.

Would be great to have the ability to use various public/private OIDC auth Solutions

If one is running a mixpost instance and wants to give users the option/s to use their google profile or some other public service to log in

Or for when an org is implementing pub/private OIDC - probably using Keycloak or another FOSS solution as a gateway to LDAP or some other pub OIDC service like Google if they are built around their platform
