Native Social Listening and Keyword Monitoring Streams

What problem does this solve?
Currently, brands miss valuable conversations, customer feedback, and industry trends if their handles aren't directly tagged in a post. To track brand sentiment, competitor activity, or specific industry keywords, users have to leave Mixpost and manually search native platforms or pay for separate monitoring software, resulting in a fractured workflow, delayed response times, and missed engagement opportunities.

Describe the solution
Introduce a dedicated "Social Listening" (or Monitoring) module within Mixpost. Users should be able to set up custom listening streams by inputting specific keywords, hashtags, brand names, or competitor handles. Mixpost would then aggregate matching public posts from connected platforms (e.g., X, Mastodon, Facebook) into a unified, real-time feed. From this feed, users should be able to interact directly with the posts—such as liking, replying, or assigning a post to a team member—without switching contexts.

Alternatives considered
Manually running keyword and hashtag searches across each platform's native interface on a daily basis, setting up multiple saved searches per network, or relying strictly on direct tag notifications (which miss untagged brand mentions and broader industry discussions).
