Automatic media conversion

Hello! I inquired in the discord to see if this feature existed but didn't see confirmation so I thought I'd make a feature request for discussion

What problem does this solve?

One of the biggest friction points I had in the past with mixpost was having to keep track of all different media standards ac cross all platforms. There's just so many, and it can feel like having to keep track of these defeats the purpose of even using a social media manager when uploading per-site has automatic conversion.

Describe the solution

I would love to have automatic conversion that takes media given to mixpost on upload, performs some compatability checks when scheduling to the platforms selected, and if not compatible with said platforms, automatic conversion to the best quality supported would be amazing.

Alternatives considered

I once upon a time put together an internal documentation guide for end users and myself to reference.

The guide contained some basic guidelines that could help someone familiarize with what a universally compatible standard could look like, but often found my users wanted maximum quality available per-platform and making a lower quality image/video because it would be say bluesky compatible as the lowest common denominator was frustrating for them. For me, it was the educational burden.

I have been evaluating a SAAS platform that happens to handle media compatibility/conversion for posting and it has certainly been a smoother posting experience,however, it lacks some other features I've come to like from mixpost, like mastodon/fediverse support, white labeling, LLM model support, hashtag sets, and more.
