Overlays and watermarks with text editor

I saw some other social media tool do this thing:

• You upload any image.
• You have a choice of overlays with transparency to chose from.
• This overlay is then applied to the image so it get's a customized branding or even just a small watermark.
• The overlays can be extended with manually created titles and undertitles, so that the text get's burned into the image.
• Voila: nice cover images.
