Support Rich Text in MixPost Pro
As a MixPost Pro User, I want to design my LinkedIn posts with rich text so that I can highlight important text with at least bold, italic, and underline options. However, when selecting a platform that does not support rich text, the text should automatically be reverted to its regular state.
Details:
Implement a Rich Text Editor (RTE) within MixPost Pro to allow users to format their LinkedIn posts with bold, italic, and underline options when creating adn editing a post.
Functionality:
- Provide formatting options for min. bold, italic, and underline within the editor.
- Automatically revert formatted text to plain text when a platform that does not support rich text is selected.
It seems that LinkedIn’s default editor on their platform doesn’t support rich text, correct?
Hi @Dima-Botezatu
Our Social Media Officer uses the formatter https://tools.blabigo.com/en/linkedin-post-formatter to send bold and italic text.
So, indeed, on deeper look you are right!
Let me know if I should rephrase this feature request differently.
Now, in light of the multiple platforms MixPost cover, a formatting feature could be rather a blocker than an enabling feature. I have no idea how other platforms approach rich text or the looking of it.
Thanks for the heads up on this one!
