Allow for manual approval request (While post in draft / from specific user)
Awesome work on the internal comments & approval system! This makes Mixpost a lot more usable for us an agency.
I do have some suggestions on the approval workflow though. Right now a user can either have approval permissions or not. Mixpost then automatically sets the post to 'approval needed' if a user without approval permissions schedules it.
A manual approval process would add a lot more flexibility in this case though.
Our process working with clients is quite flexible. We have autonomy to schedule posts without approval, other posts require approval or simply a second/third pair of eyes to check content/spelling/visuals/... .
To achieve that result we would now have to create multiple accounts for internal use depending on what content we're going to schedule.
Being able to request approval from a specific user, whether or not the current user has approval permissions, would be a big plus.
Being able to request approval for a post still in draft is also preferable.
Hi @Bjorn-Engels
Thank you for your feedback.
If your process of working with clients is flexible, you can allow all users to have approval permissions and if you need to request approval from a specific user you send a message from internal chat including @mention, and that user will receive an email notification about this.
For example:
- Hey @John, could you approve this?
- @Bjorn everything is ok. You can schedule/publish it.
Hi @Dima-Botezatu
That does indeed work for now :-) Thanks for the response!
