it would be great to be able to limit the amounts of workspaces a user can have in his plan. This would be a better upsell to higher plans.

Yes, this is not just nice to have, but a must. It doesn't make sense to be able to limit the number of users but not the workspaces. Example: Plan 1 (1 user, 1 brand, 1 workspace). Plan 2 (10 users, 10 brands, 10 workspaces). And as Matthias writes, a strong upselling instrument.
