ShortPixel Integration for Compression
The ShortPixel service has Laravel wrapper for an API that may be able to be integrated to allow image compression for images uploaded to the Mixpost media gallery. This would cut out a step for marketers needing to ensure the image is an optimal size for API transport to the selected platforms to avoid time-outs on larger batches. As long as the images are the right cropped sizes for the platform being targeted, ShortPixel will do the rest.
Not sure a paid service is best, where are so many solutions that a developer can use free of charge, for himself and anyone else. I do not want Mixpost to end up a pile of 3rd party services and above all paid!
Well, it's a good thing that an integration for a third-party is not mandatory, that's why it's an integration. For those of us who have employees with a pipeline to maintain platforms for clients, this would be a handy feature, considering that there's no API integration as of yet natively (being worked on) so we can do it ourselves. I'm not sure about, "I do not want Mixpost to end up a pile of 3rd party services and above all paid," because the Pro and Enterprise level are already paid editions.
